About Split PDF file

Splitting a PDF lets you share only the pages that matter: a single invoice from a monthly statement, one chapter of a book, or the signed page of a contract. You can select pages by clicking their previews, enter ranges such as 1-5, 8, 10-12, or break the document into single-page files.

Extracted pages keep their original quality, text and links, because they are copied rather than re-rendered.

Three ways to split

Select pages visually, split by custom ranges, or save every page as its own file.

Frequently asked questions

How do I extract specific pages from a PDF?

Open your PDF, click the pages you want so they are highlighted, choose “Selected pages” and press Split PDF. You get a new PDF containing only those pages.

What does “split by ranges” do?

Each range you type becomes its own PDF. For example 1-3, 4-6 produces two files: one with pages 1 to 3 and one with pages 4 to 6.

Why did I get a ZIP file?

When the split produces more than one PDF, the files are packed into a single ZIP so you can download them in one go.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. Splitting happens entirely in your browser, so the document stays on your device.
