About Resize image
Every website and social network wants images at a different size: 1080 × 1080 for Instagram posts, 1200 × 630 for link previews, 600 × 600 for passport photos. This image resizer changes the pixel dimensions of your JPG, PNG and WebP images in seconds.
Making an image smaller in pixels also makes the file much smaller, so resizing is often the best first step before uploading a photo.
Pixels or percent
Resize to exact pixel dimensions such as 1080 × 1080, or scale by 25%, 50% or 75%.
No stretching
Aspect ratio lock keeps faces and objects in proportion. Images are never enlarged unless you ask.
High-quality scaling
Smooth, high-quality resampling keeps resized photos sharp and free of jagged edges.
Frequently asked questions
How do I resize an image to specific dimensions?
Choose “By pixels”, type the width and height you need and press Resize images. Turn off “Lock aspect ratio” if you need the exact width and height regardless of shape.
Will resizing reduce quality?
Making an image smaller keeps it sharp. Making it bigger than the original cannot add detail, so enlarged images may look softer.
Can I resize several images at once?
Yes. Add as many images as you like; they are all resized with the same settings and downloaded as a ZIP.
Does the tool change the image format?
No. JPG stays JPG, PNG stays PNG and WebP stays WebP. Use our Image Converter to change the format.
