About PNG to JPG
PNG is great for graphics but makes photos unnecessarily large. Converting PNG to JPG shrinks the file dramatically, which is ideal for emailing photos, uploading to forms that only accept JPG, or speeding up a website.
JPG does not support transparency, so any transparent parts of your PNG are filled with white during conversion.
Much smaller files
Photos saved as PNG are often 3–5 times smaller as JPG.
Bulk conversion
Convert a whole folder of PNG images at once.
Private by design
Conversion runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
Frequently asked questions
How do I convert PNG to JPG?
Select your PNG files and press “Convert to JPG”. Download the JPG, or a ZIP if you converted several files.
Why is the JPG smaller than the PNG?
JPG uses lossy compression designed for photos, while PNG stores every pixel exactly. For photos, JPG gives a far smaller file with no visible difference.
What happens to the transparent background?
It becomes white, because the JPG format cannot store transparency. Use PNG or WebP if you need to keep it.
Is PNG to JPG conversion free?
Yes, free and unlimited, with no sign-up or watermark.
