About Scientific calculator
This free online scientific calculator handles everything from everyday arithmetic to trigonometry, logarithms and exponents. Type an expression with your keyboard or tap the buttons — brackets, operator precedence and implicit multiplication like 2π are all handled correctly.
Switch between degrees and radians for trigonometric functions, use Ans to build on your last answer, and click any result in the history to bring it back. It works on phones, tablets and computers with nothing to install.

Frequently asked questions
How do I calculate sine, cosine or tangent?
Make sure DEG or RAD is set correctly, tap sin, cos or tan, enter the angle and close the bracket — for example sin(30) = 0.5 in degrees.
How do I enter powers and roots?
Use xʸ (^) for powers, such as 2^10, x² for squares and √ for square roots, such as √(144).
What is the difference between log and ln?
log is the base-10 logarithm; ln is the natural logarithm, base e.
Does it follow the order of operations?
Yes: brackets, exponents, multiplication and division, then addition and subtraction.
Can I use my keyboard?
Yes. Type numbers and operators directly, press Enter for equals and Esc to clear.
